Our mission is to bring students’ voices into the conversation over Arlington’s transportation future, advocating for a future in which streets are never hostile to students using any mode of transportation.
Youth Power
Our overarching mission is to empower Arlington's youth by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities to actively participate in planning processes and decision-making that shape our community's future.
Engagement
By bringing together residents, stakeholders, and decision-makers, we strive to cultivate a culture of collaboration and dialogue that empowers individuals to play an active role in shaping their surroundings.
Accountability
We ensure public officials follow through on their promises for safer streets. Through advocacy, we hold them accountable to implement measures that enhance public safety and address community concerns.
Social Justice
We aim to address the systemic inequities exacerbated by unsafe and unpleasant street design, elevate the voices of those impacted by these issues, and advocate for policies and initiatives that promote equity and justice.

As the founder Cody is very passionate to ensure the safety of the people in the community and always enterprising new ways to make all forms of transportation easier and safer to use.

As the vice president of Street Advocates Student Coalition, Ava takes charge of organizing engaging and productive meetings and manages our social media, ensuring that our message reaches far and wide.
